Arise Project
This is a 2 year AmplifyChange funded project that seeks to eliminate gender based violence (GBV) and increase awareness of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among youths, girls and women in Senior Ngabu, Chikwawa district. In addition to stimulating community action against the vice, the project is also using community mobile courts to expedite access to justice for GBV survivors.
Through the project, AmplifyChange is also strengthening the capacity of Abwenzi 360 in the areas of Governance, Financial Management and Teachnical (Programs). The project runs through October 2025.
Her Dignity Project
This is a 6 months UNICEF Office to the African Union funded project Abwenzi is implementing in the area of Senior GVH Kalulu under Senior Chief Ngabu, Chikwawa district. The project is an initiative of African Union Youth Program under Youth Innovation Challenge.
The project, which seeks to eliminate the impact of Harmful Practices on the Mental Health of Children, is an initiative of African Union Youth Program’s 2022 Youth Innovations Challenge. Through the project, Abwenzi 360 is training community level Psychosocial Counsellors and create children interactive forums to enhance experience sharing among children.
